The Tenino Farmers Market is an open-air market offering fruits, vegetables, flowers, plants, baked goods, prepared foods, artisans, and entertainment.

July - 25 & 26 – Oregon Trails Days

The Tenino Farmers Market will be at the Tenino City Park for Oregon Trail Days on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and Sunday from 11:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Nancy Moyer Children's Benefit Fund will be sponsored by the Tenino Farmers Market with donated entertainment at the Quarry House stage:

  • Rock Candy Mountain, old time fiddle band,  - 1:00PM - 2:00PM.
  • JC Hyke, original country music, with back up by Rock Candy Mountain - 2:00PM - 2:30PM.
  • David "Elvis" Scott, Vocalizations including Elvis, gospel and popular music- 3:00PM - 5:00PM.

Free Herb Workshop Offered

Sign advertising Herbs: Cilantro, Basil, Oregano, etc., with a sunflower in a pot in front of it.Woman in a herb booth at the Tenino Farmers MarketThe Tenino Farmers Market will hold a free herb workshop, Saturday, August 8 from 11 a.m. to noon, hosted by local gardening expert Sandy Livingstone. Owner and operator of Sunshine Enterprises, Livingstone will share practical tips for successfully growing a variety of herbs in the soils and climate of our region as well as step-by-step instructions about harvesting and how to put your herbs to good use throughout the house.

Market vendors will also offer a variety of related items, including potted herbs, herb bouquets and an abundance of dried herb products to help customers who want to kick-start their own gardening adventures.

  • August 8 - Herb workshop by Sandy Livingstone, Sunshine Enterprises, LLC 11:00am-Noon
    • Free class on planting, harvesting and uses.

September 5 – Vendor & Sponsor Appreciation Day

Grand Opening

On June 27 the Tenino Farmers Market, celebrated the grand opening of its fourth season. Workshops that promote home gardening techniques began with Garden Composting at 10:00am, followed by Worm Composting at 11:00am - all offered by Thurston County Master Composters. At noon, Sandy Livingstone from Sunshine Enterprises shared her wisdom and wit on lavender growing, how to care for it, use, and harvesting. Live music was provided from 10:30am - 12:00pm by Jeff Anderson – fiddle & Jane Johnson – accordion followed by MUSIC BY KANA from 1pm – 3pm.
