Stoney Plains Organic Farm
Tenino, WA
Owned and operated by the Meyer family
Stoney Plains Organic Farm is the realization of Robert and Patricia Meyer’s long-held dream to make a wide variety of locally grown organic produce available in communities. Now a 60-acre organic farm run by Patricia and her son Patrick, along with other family members including grandkids, the dream began on a small scale decades ago.
Brought to the Olympia area from St. Paul, MN, in the 1970s by a job relocation, Robert and Patricia put in a 60’ x 80’ garden in Lacey. From this beginning they eventually progressed to 10 hand-tilled acres in Tenino. In 1978 they began selling through the Olympia Farmer’s Market, and now also make their produce available in
- Ballard
- Bellevue
- Columbia City
- Olympia Food Co-Ops (eastside and westside)
- Pike Place Market
- Tenino Farmer’s Market
- University District in Seattle
- West Seattle
They also participate in CSA (Community-Supported Agriculture), a convenient and very popular way for people to enjoy and explore a wonderful variety of organic vegetables every week during the growing season.
Through hard work, determination, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to making healthy local food available in communities, the Meyer family members proudly continue to make their Dad’s dream come true.
Web Site problems? They're probably Paul's fault.
